Scholarships at University of East London

The University of East London (UEL) are offering a limited number of scholarships worth £10,000, under an OfS funded scholarship scheme, to successful applicants who accepted the "Conditional" or "Unconditional" full-time study offer letter for the MSc in AI and Data Science. This scholarship aims to support students from underrepresented groups who will be studying on a full time basis.

Successful applicants who meet all of the eligibility criteria below will receive a £10,000 scholarship, payable in three instalments during the academic year. This fund is limited. Applications will be awarded on a first-come first-served basis until funds are exhausted. All applicants must meet the elibility criteria as stipulated within the terms and conditions.

We are thrilled to announce that our international scholarships for September 2024 have been approved and successful award winners are being notified. There is no need to re-apply for another scholarship as your eligibility will be automatically assessed at the time of the offer. 

Scholarships range between £1,000 and £5,000 - off your first year's tuition fees - (depending on your course programme). If you receive an offer of a place and are assessed as eligible for an international scholarship, the amount of the award will be indicated in your offer letter. 

International scholarships are not available for:  

• Short courses or exchange/study abroad programmes

• Franchised programmes

• Pre-Masters programmes

• International Foundation programmes

• Pre-sessional English programmes

Award Summary

The University of East London recognises that people seeking asylum in the UK are likely to be some of the most vulnerable in our society.  The University is working with the Helena Kennedy Foundation to support such people accessing higher education. 

Successful applicants will be awarded 100% tuition fee support until they are awarded such immigration status that enables them to access support from Student Finance.
